Good topic!
I too accept the risk of free speech, and stories like this make me all the more willing to do so. The private market "censorship" of Imus shows, yet again, how quickly private censorship can work. Although Imus's speech was not prevented by the capitalist market, it was rejected so immediately by advertisers that I think it will serve as a good warning for the future.
